About the Festival
Marking history, this is the second Nikola Tesla Film Festival in the USA and world. Set against the electric energy of Las Vegas, Our Film Festival showcases independent films, documentaries and shorts that explore themes of invention, technology, human potential and groundbreaking ideas.
Just as Tesla lit up the world with his inventions, the festival sparks inspiration by shining a spotlight on bold voices in cinema.
Festival award night will feature red carpet reception, highlights of the finalist films and presentation across categories.
Every winner will take home Tesla statue award and the best film will get awarded with $1000 cash prize. Winners will be contacted by festival directors via email by January 7th, 2026.
DIRECTOR & FOUNDER
Katarina Spenard is the Founder and Festival Director of the Nikola Tesla Film Festival, based in Las Vegas. She established the festival with a clear mission: to celebrate and promote the enduring values of Nikola Tesla, innovation, creativity, and visionary thinking.
Through her leadership, the festival has evolved into an international platform that fosters artistic excellence, encourages meaningful collaboration, and connects filmmakers from around the world. Her work reflects a deep commitment to honoring Tesla’s legacy while creating opportunities for global storytelling, cultural exchange, and creative advancement within the film industry.
Tesla Award is made from strongest marble powder with resin, hand-crafted in antique bronze color.
